Maybe it's a typo and the second 2+ should have been just 2? It did seem a little weird. Does your serial number look like it falls into the range specified in the detailed entry?

So I'm not in the lucky group that got the update on day 1 [or day 4 now]. But at least I can see the online documentation has been updated very thoroughly. They even tell you how it sets the exposure for panoramas.

My tip is "Don't forget about the zoom paddle." It makes a great two-control move with only one lever. You can combine the zoom with other motions, like adding a little forward motion during the zoom to hide the fact that you didn't have your subject perfectly centered to start with.
