Glad Skydio isn't located in Alameda county...

I own a Model 3, fine machine. I completely respect Musk, he is a rare bird with lots of conviction. He wanted to build his Giga factory in Calif but the silly progressives squandered that opportunity. I have zero doubt that he could pull the plug on California even if it hurts in the short...

What is under the hood :)

I especially like the "No Step" printing on the board, my kind of designers! It's great to see these pictures, thanks for sharing.

    Skydio killer?

I own a bunch of DJI craft and also the Skydio2. Each has strong points; The S2 smokes anything that DJI offers in terms for autonomous following, and the Beacon is stellar. The Mavic2's and MA2 have vastly superior features like range and duration, still camera modes like automatic Panoramas...

    Skydio killer?

Here's an example of the MA2 tracking, it's better than other Mavics, but probably not in the same class as Skydio.

S2 deliveries ... Any impact due to the COVID-19 (Corona) virus?

Yes, they are not deemed "essential" and had to close shop until further notice. They are available for support, that's the last I heard.

    S2 in the rain?

Just updated to current firmware will fly when it's nice out, soon. I did make a bike mount to play with some beacon tracking now that the neighborhood is so quiet. Rain flying, as long as water stays away from the RF side, should be OK. WiFi hates moisture, loses range.

    S2 in the rain?

I have to say, you are so impressive, your skill and knowledge on off-roaders is amazing. The sound of those monsters, awesome. You have now got a toolbox of good "following drones", what a journey it's been. Nice to see you in a space where you aren't always squashed!

    Panorama in App?

This is my number 1 request, automatic panoramas, 180 and Sphere, they don't need to go all out and auto stitch on-board like DJI is doing, just save each pano series into their own folders so we can stitch them off-line with 3rd party apps. This is a huge help for us scenery capture folks!
