You have to pry the case of the beacon apart very carefully. The top and bottom are mostly stuck together with some type of soft sealing glue. Not really that hard to pry apart. Careful not to pry to deep and poke the battery or cut the wires. There is a black and a white set of wires attached...

Did you ever figure out a fix. I can tell you how to fix the problem. I had the same issue.

The 2 kits with the skydio hard cases are sold. The lower priced kit in the red hard case is still available. The Tripltek tablet is still available but it is only android 9 and the newer skydio software needs android 10 to even get the software to show up in the playstore.

Sorry I forgot I put the Tripltek in there too. I would take $300 plus shipping for that.
