I have been flying in both mountain and canyon country and have no problem getting up to around 1500 feet above launch. Sometimes am limited by the 400 feet below launch limit.

I got the Dirty J design for a Samsung tablet and it has worked fine. Also got their controller shutoff plug which allows you to shut the controller off with folding it shut.

First real use was in the Northwest Territories of Canada. Only had two weeks to practice with my first drone before heading out to the middle of nowhere. Had some adventures and learned a few things along the way. Best thing was I didn't crash or lose the drone and captured a lot of awesome...
