Update required loop, can break out even though software is up to date!

I have the Skydio2, and trying to get it to work with my new iPhone 13 mini. Once connected (by phone or controller), it tells me I must "Update before Launch". I click the "Check for Updates" and it gives me a pop up "Software is up to date, OK" It says software is 7.0.23, but it still gives me the "Update before Launch". It doesn't matter how many times I click update, it is still the same loop. I reinstalled the app, I reset the controller, I connected controller to drone, and it is updated. Any suggestions?
