    Getting Rid of Skydio 2

I have 2 units (2 and 2+), both with cases and spare props plus 4 batteries and 2 controllers. I asked what part of all that would you want and what fair price would you pay.

    Getting Rid of Skydio 2

Confirmed - Skydio IS getting out of the consumer market

Oh, the Air 3 is much more than just a scenery drone. It is more of an all-around, long range photo and video drone that I use for just about everything except following me around. Because of its range and controlability, I use it for photo/video of moving trains, interesting...

Confirmed - Skydio IS getting out of the consumer market

Judging from the enormous features and performance gap between, say, my S2+ and my Air 3, I don't think Skydio will be a serious player in the commercial market for some time to come. Add in manufacturing costs, the economic climate and other related factors and I just don't see it happening...

Confirmed - Skydio IS getting out of the consumer market

I don't film my motorcycle rides. Rather I use the drone to explore and take photos/videos of things I see while out riding. The great range, two cameras, controls customization across the 3 flight modes, computer connectivity, compactness and packaging, recharging pack, etc. make it the...

Confirmed - Skydio IS getting out of the consumer market

Unfortunately, it has been my experience (for right or wrong) that people and companies who hang you out to dry once won't hesitate to do it again if they think conditions warrant it. Trust is a hard thing to win back.

Confirmed - Skydio IS getting out of the consumer market

If Skydio does return to the consumer market, they will have to really up their game. After Skydio dropped out, I went to an Air 3 that, by comparison, makes the S2+ look primitive, in almost every way.

    Getting Rid of Skydio 2

I plan to get rid of my Skydio 2, with SD card, case and controller (no batteries, low hours). It was replaced by an 2+ and later an Air 3. What do you think would be a fair asking price for both buyer and seller?

    DJI Community is Absolutely Toxic

Agree! My S2+ went into a small, high wire at speed and recovered enough not to crash into the ground., It landed hard but landed it did with no damage.

    DJI Community is Absolutely Toxic

For now, I would tend to believe that the demand for Skydio drones has outrun the supply and/or manufacturing capability, thus prompting an honest"out of stock" messaging. Add in the upcoming ID requirements and potential upgrades or new models and the company's message makes a lot of sense.

    DJI Community is Absolutely Toxic

On the subject of demand, you don't have to think all that hard to figure out where there might be a big appetite for Skydio drones. It's a great product and quite capable aerial camera.

    DJI Community is Absolutely Toxic

With the government contracts Skydio has gotten, what are the chances they're bing subject to governmental or related pressures to get out of the consumer drone market?

    DJI Community is Absolutely Toxic

Being out of stock, if true, smacks of either (1) rather draconian inventory management or (2) some major shift in the supply chain (e.g., new plant, new product, new supplier, etc.). It's hard to believe Skydio would should itself in the butt at this point; however, these are strange times...

    Wouldn't It Be So Kewl

Also a little annoying. Wanting to buy new batteries for an upcoming project, I saw they were out of stock also,
