I plan to get rid of my Skydio 2, with SD card, case and controller (no batteries, low hours). It was replaced by an 2+ and later an Air 3. What do you think would be a fair asking price for both buyer and seller?

Agree! My S2+ went into a small, high wire at speed and recovered enough not to crash into the ground., It landed hard but landed it did with no damage.

For now, I would tend to believe that the demand for Skydio drones has outrun the supply and/or manufacturing capability, thus prompting an honest"out of stock" messaging. Add in the upcoming ID requirements and potential upgrades or new models and the company's message makes a lot of sense.

On the subject of demand, you don't have to think all that hard to figure out where there might be a big appetite for Skydio drones. It's a great product and quite capable aerial camera.

With the government contracts Skydio has gotten, what are the chances they're bing subject to governmental or related pressures to get out of the consumer drone market?

Being out of stock, if true, smacks of either (1) rather draconian inventory management or (2) some major shift in the supply chain (e.g., new plant, new product, new supplier, etc.). It's hard to believe Skydio would should itself in the butt at this point; however, these are strange times...

I have two drones, the S2 and S2+. I've been using the S2+ exclusively for some time but now want to S2 for some special shots. I can get the iPhone/app to connect to either of the two drones but the controller (with iPhone attached) will only connect to the S2+, even though app will connect...

Sorry about your drone. My S2+ tangled with a high wire but survived with only scratches on the props. Not having the battery ripped off, it was able to right itself and slow its fall a little before hitting the ground., To say the least, I was gobsmacked when it was able to take off again...

Sorry to hear you are having issues. So far, I've not had a landing issue or problem with either the 2 or 2+. I use the controller on all my flights and the button has always worked, both to land and cancel landings. Also, I fly the S2/2+ a lot, both to scout out areas to photograph and take...

I had an iPhone 6 and it did suck. Display was too weak, screen too small and flying could quickly drain the battery.

When flying a keyframe path, Skydio will be making a video, from which you can grab snapshots if you choose.
