Bumping this - I'd like to know also. I've tried very good cables, mfi certified lightining to usb c and nothing works. I've seen other threads on the controller/phone connectivity issue and wanted to try a new cable. This is getting frustrating
I would add my experience - my drone is over a year old but I have started having the same issue as reported by the original poster. Using the controller it has become very unreliable in connecting and staying connected. The only way I can get the controller to connect to the drone is to have...
Apparently this is not a typical problem. I used the controller for several months trying to work around the error message but eventually it got much more difficult to get it to work without the error, so when I re-contacted skydio they replaced it very quickly. So if anyone ever gets this...
All:
The 2nd time I attempted to use my controller I got the error 'sticks not centered' and couldn't fly. I did the usual excercise the sticks to try to 'fix it' to no avail. I never flew that time. The next day I got it out again and this time I did not get the error and was able to fly...
After nearly a year waiting my Skydio finally showed up. Took it out for a pretty good first run with the beacon - it seems to do really well with the following although I do notice lag from when I change direction to when it does - I wonder if that can be configurable.
But my current question...
My mavic dropped out of the sky with 30% battery remaining on a 1 yr old lightly used battery that had developed a 'marginal' cell. manufacturing quality matters. Time will tell whether skydio lives up to this but there are more to these things than the flashy features reviews like to talk about.
According to their website, they have finished shipping batches 1-2 and are on batch 3 (my batch). You should confirm the batch# and maybe give them a call.

There are 57 days left to comment - if there is a fast consensus on doing this, we can get some of the drone youtubers engaged to get the word out. For now this is for consideration and comment.
We need to group together with our concerns about Remote ID and propose a workable alternative or...
All:
according to the draft remote-id rule drones that do not have remote id will be limited to flying in some 'special' restricted airspace. Does anyone have any info from Skydio on how they will respond to this - and what about all the million drones currently flying without remote id? I...
