Hello all, new here and fairly new to Skydio.
Is anyone else using this platform for Oil and Gas inspections?

I have a very large project for a major oil company to 3d scan pipe racks and equipment in cooling tower drift zones.
Just wanted to discuss best practices and any techniques from pilots experienced with 3d scanning using the Skydio 2+

Thanks,
FlareGuy

Hey mate

Yeah I work in that industry in Australia and we're using the S2+ Enterprise and 3d Scan

Not so much 3d Scan as we do CVI (close visual inspection) piping inspections on a gas plant and it's more efficient to take video and fly close with the reduced OA (3d Scan does not allow this during automated flights) so the inspectors can orientate themselves and just save frames from the video for their reporting

What do you specifically want to know about 3d Scan?
