Anyone else notice their beacon is magnetic?

Had not really played with the beacon before yesterday and just now noticed it is sufficiently magnetic to stick to my fridge!

That would make perfect sense - actually I was thinking about putting together a forearm band for wearing it when I’m out riding but a magnetic mount would also be great for many applications.

I haven't gotten mine yet, got the controller though... It's a good idea if done right!

Update: Confirmed with Skydio it is intentionally magnetic.

Just watched a video by Accelerated Heights

where he velcro'd the Skydio Beacon to a Mavic, and the Skydio DID FOLLOW the Beacon! I like Velcro. I plan to velcro a beacon to my bike's handlebars.
