Different between Skydio2+ Beacon & (old) Skydio2 Beacon

I have received an email from Skydio regarding the Skydio 2+ Beacon.
Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the two beacons Sykdio2+ & (old) Skydio2?

Sure, they are different but Skydio 2+ Beacon is compatible with any Skydio 2 or 2+ drone.

The new Skydio 2+ Beacon extends the range up to 3km while the Skydio 2 Beacon's range is half of that.
