Hi all, transitioning military UAV pilot here in St. Mary's County, MD, and received my S2+ yesterday! I've been flying Anafis and home-builds for a few years and have taken a couple commercial jobs. Played around with the Skills and 3D Scan already, it's a fun drone to fly!
Compared to my previous drones, this one feels like it takes half a battery just to start up and calibrate (it's only 2 minutes, but feels like an eternity when you're itching to fly or are trying to catch a limited window). The controls are also a bit less responsive than I'm used to, but it's probably a settings issue that I can adjust. I almost had a heart attack when Cable Cam went full-speed toward a tree branch, but it saw it and avoided.
Fun little toy--I mean, tool. We are going to do cool things together.
