Return to home using the beacon?

Quick question for someone who is using the beacon
How does the S2 act when signal is lost with the beacon and phone is not connected? Does it return to the beacon position?

No the drone keeps hoovering.
At it's place and you get a loud beep + flash red light on the beacon , I usually come up to the drone then and he resumes it's path.
