It yanks my chain after seeing what the S2 is capable of how some "experts" and YT Reviewers can compare it to a Mavic Mini; or, complain it may not have the same low light performance of the Mavic 2.... For some cinematography DJI will still have it's place but when this technology is developed undoubtedly it will grow into new markets, even the Pro's. If you send up a $10k studio drone there is a piece of mind you haven't had with anything until now.
This is a fundamental shift in drone technology which will allow children to fly safely, rescuers to search better, photographers to get up closer, follow safer....
I'm not impressed after years of hearing DJI's better, farther, faster.... I'm not taking anything away from the excellent drones DJI pushes out but the S2 is at a different level. DJI had the opportunity for years to develop this "safe drone" and actively chose not too because lack of competition and pockets lined with $.
