Very strange. Latest Skydio Vehicle Software Version is 24.17.4 and in the app on Android S22 Ultra it says Disconnected 6.0.40.

The drone does broadcast it self as the proper wifi network, the app says connected, but when I click the sensor icon at the top, it comes up No Vehicle connection.

I get Update required Update your drone to launch, then as I click Check for UPDATE , the app says This drone is up to date.

If I just try connecting the beacon or controller with the usb C cable they do not connect.
I tried connecting the drone to my computer to test if the USB connection is made and my PC recognizes the Drone.

This seems to be an incompatibility issue between the app, controller, and beacon as I am unable to enter an upgrade routine on each within the app or with USB cable. And Yes I tried cable to drone with my S22 phone and it says cannot connect to the drone.

But if I just turn on the drone and phone it goes on and says Connected. But as already stated, the sensor icon is not ‘on’ and when clicked it brings up NO VEHICLE CONNECTION.

So I can see UPDATE REQUIRED, THEN DRONE IS UP TO DATE, and there is no UPDATE to the right when I am in the info tab and click proper drone to ‘update’ or check for update.

Do I need to get ride of 6.0.40 ? I also did a data reset, but I can't say if that does anything either bcuz it says the drone will restart but it doesn’t until I turn it off……….so much that does not look right here.
Anybody who has updated the OS by any means other than on boot up with the app running?

I know DJI allows updates from an SD card as an option when the assistant or app has a conflict with the equipment. But I can only think that SKYDIO is not letting a download get put on an SD card. What am I not doing right?

Skydio rep Rajah called and assisted by entering stepped updates x 4 to bring me up to the latest version. He stayed on the line for each download and installation that he arranged on my account one at a time on the backend. Thanks to Rajah!
