    Chinese Drones a Threat?

I guess some politicians gotta have a bogey man to instill fear among the populace and so I suppose drones from China is good enough for this Representative.

    Altitude limit

I emailed Skydio support and asked when the altitude limit would be increased since it was promised to be done by now. My email - In Skydio's support article, How high can Skydio 2 fly? , it states - The current height limitation for Skydio 2's shipping in 2019 is 130m (427 ft.). This...

Controller USB C to Micro B USB Tablet

I submitted this question to Skydio Support a couple of months ago for my Moto G5 Plus. Here's Skydio's response - Some of the testers have had success with this adapter, Amazon.com: Compatible Micro USB to Type C Data Cable 11.8 inch 90 Degree Video Data Cable for DJI Mavic 2 Zoom/Mavic 2...

    Altitude limit

Well, Skydio better get this fixed before my batch 3 order reservation comes due. 400 feet won't even get me to the top of the 800 foot rise for the mountain behind my house. Probably will cancel the order if this isn't fixed before my notification. This would be the straw that broke the camel's...

    Skydio 2 Apple Watch app?

I would rather see Skydio put more resources into improving the current app for android and ios instead of an app for a limited market apple watch. Still only 400' max agl, no waypoints, need a more reliable rth, and an indicator to show how many minutes left on the battery before you need to...

    New SkydioPilots Wiki

Messages are limited to 420 characters, so I'm posting it here. For wiki, micro usb cable when using smartphone with controller. Note: micro usb cable is not included with Skydio 2 I asked Skydio via email: Does Skydio have a list of recommended adapters and/or cables to make the connection...

Skydio support's response regarding my Skydio 2's crash

Or at least crash insurance until Skydio can perform repairs on S2. I hope they get the repair business part sorted out by batch 3.

    V17 error

Another user reported this error, V17, and the resolution was Skydio replaced the defective S2 with a new one.

The FAA’s Remote ID Proposal for Drones is Here! This affects every drone pilot.

As written it will be bad for the consumer drone industry, more regs, more cost, more fees. For the limited Remote ID option (400 foot hemisphere limit) you can't take off without an internet connection. I haven't seen anything that says the controlling station cannot move. So as long as you...

The FAA’s Remote ID Proposal for Drones is Here! This affects every drone pilot.

I received this email and after reading the first few pages (document link - https://s3.amazonaws.com/public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2019-28100.pdf ), I'm afraid the good ol' days of flying drones is coming to an end. The proposal calls for 3 classes for Remoted ID. The first two require...

    Telemetry question

This was posted on Skydio's Twitter account (@SkydioHQ) @ 9:15 PM 12/24/2019 - "Telemetry update is now available for Android users. iOS is still waiting on approval from Apple and will probably be delayed a few days due to their holiday closures. " Have you tried checking the app store (Google...

    Reviews Coming In...

Whatever the fix is it won't be in S2. Wireless signal strength can't be improved upon with just a firmware update. Maybe in another year or so when Skydio 3 is released you'll have a better controller experience when the wireless connection and controller are improved.

    Range Test Not So Good!

For me the range test is more of an indication of how strong the signal can get to/from the drone in adverse conditions when it's within LOS.
