I tried my beacon a couple of days ago and it is doing the same as yours. Unfortunately, I think both of us are out of luck. I can't get it to even turn on now unless I plug it into the charger but it still flashes the logo and goes no further. I even tried plugging it into the drone. No joy.

Has anyone tried the TriplTek Pro to use as your controller/monitor? It is less expensive than the iPad Pro with the bright screen and the Tripltek is a better size for drones.

Found an old iPhone 4/5 running strap that I had stored away. I put a safety pin on one side and may sew it for a more suitable modification. It now fits on my wrist. Now I will put the beacon in a waterproof bag (seal a meal) and test the functionality for windsurfing.

Once I get a hang of controlling the Skydio 2 on land away from water, I am going to try capturing video of myself windfoiling on Mission Bay. I will have to learn to trust myself and Skydio 2 overwater :)

I may use the Skydio 2 to learn how to pilot with the controller and not rely on the beacon for anything for water sports. I may have to switch to a SwellPro Spry+ or Splash 3 or 4.

Hello neighbor :) I'd be interested to see your videos. I am in National City and windsurf mostly at Mission Bay, occasionally at J Street in Chula Vista and Lake Hodges in Escondido. My plan is to shoot windfoiling, windsurfing, wingfoiling, and other water activities in San Diego.
