Are you guys removing the gimbal guard when charging your batteries in the drone? I haven't seen it stated anywhere that you can't, but with the drone being on while charging I'm curious?
Hmm, in my (limited) experience with the SD2, if you have the gimbal lock off and then you plug in the charging cable, the gimbal will center itself 20 seconds after attaching the charging cable This without manually powering on the bird. Probably not a big issue.I just went through this as I was formatting a SD card. until you start the autonomy engine which is just before takeoff, the gimbal stays limp.
You will get some great video down in Baja with the SD2,Hmm, in my (limited) experience with the SD2, if you have the gimbal lock off and then you plug in the charging cable, the gimbal will center itself 20 seconds after attaching the charging cable This without manually powering on the bird. BTW, loved your recent videos! I took my Mavic zoom on a recent trip down Baja on a 1200 GS and it was very hard to use active track and capture decent footage. Cannot wait to try it with my new bird!
