Connecting Cable for my Iphone and Remote Controller

Hi, everyone, I lost my OTG cable for my Iphone and remote and thought a regular 3rd party USB C to lighting cable would works like any other DJI drones, but when I connected the cable between the phone and the remote, the application doesn't see the remote controller and keeps asking to connect directly to the drone via Wi-Fi. The remote is getting solid connection with the drone but the fly app don't see the remote. Is the connecting cable a specialized cable for Skydio? Thanks.

Yes... I have tried many cables. Only the OEM Skydio cable works with iPhone. Android cables seem to be universal.

I had some previous issues with non-Skydio cable. When I reached out to support they said they only support using their cables. They have them for sale on their site now which is nice. I had to order one through support when I lost my first one.
