so why does skydio want you to attach the generic rid sticker to your drone, is that some sort of requirement?

You know, I couldn't find anything that specifically says you have to slap a number on your drone. I didn't pull up the full text, but DID read a couple summaries. And there was no mention of a label...

Same here, but I did make my own little label showing my drones are FAA Remote ID Compliant, personally I believe it doesn't matter.
