iPad Air | Created Clip won’t save to Photos

I used my iPad Air to connect to my S2. Works fine. But when 'Create clip' it throws up an error - after going through the clip creation process - 'unable to save to Photos, use Files able to view this video'.
Has anyone else come across this. IF this doesn't work, kind of defeats the purpose of using the iPad instead of the iphone -when using the app to control the S2

Never had any errors in this department. iPad mini 5 works fine. Its always a struggle to get the three devices conected but that is a wholle different discussion.
