Iphone was bricked

I updated my S2 to the new firmware last night, app is constantly auto updated. I flew a real estate keyframe mission, no problem, all good. I shot a vertical pano photo, once again. all good. I usually have my labtop on me to review footage. I did not this time. I used the in app media tab to review the data that was captured. After review I pulled the battery out of the S2 while my phone was still connected via usb-c and lighting to the R/C, which was still powered up. That's what did it. Bricked my iphone 12.
