Metadata in photo from Video clips

One of the strengths of Skydio is its video capability ..which is a fine a good ... but I need photos to do scans. If i do a keyframe video around a house ...when I extract certain photos, will it have the GPS metadata on it ...like normal photos do? If not, I would have to fly manually or do something like DroneDeploy to capture the images I need.

Yes. It is in the EXIF data.

So there is EXIF embedded in the video? I had thought EXIF was just in the still images captured. Thanks!

There is metadata not exif. How would you get gps data from a video that has a moving camera? If you need just a gps location you could take one still photo for the session, it will have gps location in the exif.
