You have to pry the case of the beacon apart very carefully. The top and bottom are mostly stuck together with some type of soft sealing glue. Not really that hard to pry apart. Careful not to pry to deep and poke the battery or cut the wires. There is a black and a white set of wires attached to connectors at the bottom just above where the battery wires connect from the other side. Move those connection back and forth to make sure they have good contact. That all I did with 2 different beacons with the same problem. Have a picture of the inside that I will post when I make it small enough to post. Should be able to snap the halves back together and it should now show it charging or already fully charged.
