Video editing software

If you guys want something free, try out Microsoft's Clipchamp. They recently changed the limitations so you can now do a lot for free.

For a one-time paid inexpensive option, there's Adobe Premiere Elements, there's Cyberlink's PowerDirector, A lot of cheap options actually. just search for "best inexpensive windows video editor".

For the big name ones, you've already seen DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro as well as Final Cut Pro.

I've been using https://www.movavi.com/imovie-for-windows/. It's not open source, but it has a very user-friendly interface with an array of features that I found to be sufficient for pretty much all my editing needs. The price point isn't as steep as some others, and the functionality is pretty intuitive. I appreciate the fact it doesn't require a super-powerful computer to run smoothly and does a good job with various formats.
