After a short flight, the drone was hissing!

Did a short flight right around sunset, maybe 8 minutes max. Temp was about 90°. When I landed the drone it was hissing. Very warm, almost hot. I waited for it to complete its calibration, and turned it off, at which point the hissing immediately stopped.
Ever hear of that?

Hot batteries after flight are quite common especially when flying in warmer locations.

Did you get a "too hot to fly" warning in the Skydio app?

Error on the side of caution and contact Skydio support and ask for guidance before flying again.

Didn't get any warning or error message. I did send Skydio the same email, and am waiting to hear back... Thanks.

I did not know that, it might be what made the sound. Although it didn't sound like a fan at all...
