Here’s hoping the next version of the Skydio will bring in miniaturized LIDAR technology used in the new iPhone 12’s. No low light restrictions, detects smaller obstacles and the point clouds used for navigation can be processed more efficiently than stitched images.

Get your wallet stuffed if they release consumer version of that :)

Only directional 360 all the time is different story

It is definitely going to. Have you seen 3D Scan in person yet?? It does the same thing as your iPhone where it finds mesh edges before it takes photos, it looks IDENTICAL to your iPhone. Rumors also include a sensor more than twice the size and over the standard UAS 20 MP. iPhone_LiDAR.pngiPhone LiDAR
