Finally, I figured out a temporary solution to have a lanyard attached to the Skydio remote & the beacon. Best for hand launch and catch when you don't have to hold the remote.

The red anchor is from my other Peak Design camera gear accessories and I had many of them laying around. (Purchase link: https://amzn.to/2uxsOJA)

Black lanyard is from some old convention badge.

Of course, you'll have to remove the anchor from the remote when finish flying but still a good solution from the awkward remote control.

If you have other solutions, let me know!

Nice! I use Peak for my cameras and Smart Controller. If you get the Parrot Sky Controller tablet holder, it has a lanyard connection built in.

Clever use of the anchors....

How much (if at all) does the Controller anchor interfere with keeping the controller antenna securely open?

Did you have to open the Beacon to get its lanyard attached?

Good idea, you just gave me another idea for a 3D project design!

This doesn't apply to the controller but for the beacon I threaded in a thin piece of nylon webbing, then sewed the ends together with waxed thread. Then I attached a carabiner to it which I clip onto my gear. For my use I need a secure attachment for the beacon.

I attached the lanyard to the beacon with a simple small keyring (See photo).
