Altitude not even close

Can it go below the sea? Says I'm minus 4 feet below the ground. Look at the top right bottom number. I even made it to minus 7 feet without taking a breath. I have read that the numbers are based on where it took off from. I was not 7 feet higher. Only seen it this bad since the update.
