All motion tracking is optical. I'm pretty impressed even with the optical. All my previous DJI and 3DR drones couldn't hang with this kinda of fast movement at changing altitudes at all. I can't wait till I can get the beacon (and well go out to the backcountry again whenever this Covid thing is over).
